Yuki FansubsTM – Bringing a whole new meaning to the word “late”.
Again, will be available in both 480p and 720p. 480p version will be slightly late. Apologies for the slightly-too-large filesize on the 720p. The recent encodes have turned out to be just a tad bit big. Hopefully the next release will put it again at the 340 or 345 MB mark. Read more…
The long awaited fix for episode 8 is out! Improved video quality, more refined sub-timing, and all that good stuff. The script is fundamentally the same as last version.
Also available in 480p, since the 720p doesn’t look stunning.
If you were happy with v1 and don’t need to rewatch it, go ahead. If you haven’t seen v1 and want to watch it now, download this. In fact, you won’t find v1 anymore. If you just want to archive it, then download this one.

Quick post summary: We have two new things, an IRC webclient and delays on eps 8v2 and 12. Want to know more? Read on! Read more…
I would apologize for being late three times in a row, but I can’t think of (or have) any more excuses at this point. So just enjoy. Maybe.
Rumor has it that a episode 8 v2 may arise sometime soon. Also, don’t expect episode 12 until at least 2 or 3 groups release. I am STILL without a translator, and I won’t bother explaining why that’s important. Read more…
I won’t even bother explaining why it’s late this time. Something about H1N1 and then more school crap. Read more…
Well then. Busy with school and finals, so it was slow. But it’s here. And it doesn’t look as bad as #8. Expect the next two episodes to be slow as well. Read more…
Simply put, the raws community doesn’t think Mysterique Sign is important. Beats me as to why, but of course without a raw there is no sub. So there’s my explanation in a nutshell.
Well, it doesn’t deserve just a comment explaination, so I’m going to attempt to explain the delays associated with the well overdue release of ep 8.
First of all, you may know that I was away from the Interwebs this past weekend. In fact, I was at Nerd Competition (American Computer Science League), and was unable to work on subbing for that weekend.
Second of all, there has been a lot of confusion over stuff. Many raws have been released, and it takes time to download and examine them all. I am trying to pick the best quality source for my final encode. Overall, I am not impressed with the range of quality there is; but a new airing is a new airing.
Expect a decrease in sharpness of the episode. Rips such as these are always guaranteed to have slight blurriness due to interlacing. I believe that serious magic has been done to eliminate all or most visual defects, but it may not match the clarity of the past episodes.
Finally, I hope to make a final release today, but who knows.
Well, the moment you’ve all been waiting for has arrived. It aired. Not much more to say.

Current status: Released.

So, my schedule for this weekend looks quite busy. Allegedly, but quite probably, this weekend’s airing of Haruhi is going to be NEW. This means that there will be TL-delay involved. In addition, I’m participating in one of the nerdiest competitions around, ACSL. Basically, I am away the entire weekend; and may or may not have Internet access. Yay. This would most likely further delay my release. This leads to the new board poll. Read more…
