So, my schedule for this weekend looks quite busy. Allegedly, but quite probably, this weekend’s airing of Haruhi is going to be NEW. This means that there will be TL-delay involved. In addition, I’m participating in one of the nerdiest competitions around, ACSL. Basically, I am away the entire weekend; and may or may not have Internet access. Yay. This would most likely further delay my release. This leads to the new board poll. Read more…
Something weird happened with the server inbetween the release of this one and full distro, so I apologize for the many who were stuck at 98%. In the future, perhaps some measure will be taken to prevent such oddness from happening, but there’s no telling. Read more…
Officially, I’d say our IRC channel is open to the public. However, if you’ve a keen eye, you’d see that XDCC links have already been updated to reflect the fact that we have our own IRC channel. You might also notice that there’s a link up top pertaining to IRC. I’m going to bring all the new additions together in an easy-to-read-and-tl;dr-post. (Ignore the contractiction).
In case you haven’t heard already, Shamisen is cutting all ties with us/me. As to exactly why, I only have an inkling, but in my and several other analyst’s opinions, it’s quite the gross overreaction. By his reaction, he clearly doesn’t want to talk about it. I could respect his “wishes?” to not discuss it, but I feel like it needs to be appealed. Besides, the last thing I’m obligated to do is respect his decision as of now.
If you the type of person that sees “TL;DR”, you’d want to skip to the end, there’s some important info down there. Read more…
Now, this is based purely on speculation, but according to said speculation, next week is a potential candidate for a new episode of Haruhi to be slotted in. Now, I don’t know Japanese. I don’t really know anyone who knows Japanese. Hence, I am posting here in the slight chance that anyone who reads this (psh, who reads this) is fluent enough in Japanese and has nothing better to do than to help out here.
Now, if I get nobody, which I am pretty sure will be the case, I suppose I’ll just have to stop. Read more…
The latest advances of procrastination and SemiSpeedSubbing brings you a same-day release of episode 6, marking the close of the Melancholy story arc. Thanks go out to Kuroshiroi on IRC for close QC.
Also: contemplating moving releases over to include AniRena as a tracker. Read more…
This one was a relatively easy one. As of now, NyaaTorrents is acting weird, therefore, you may be unable to download for a little while. (The site is back up, but the torrent link pointed towards episode 4 for about half an hour. Apologies.)
Again, [Shamisen] helped with QC. Seeing as nobody goes here anyway. Read more…
As part of the Public Quality Control Initiative, or PQCI for short, I am posting the release candidate for Haruhi 05. You can find it for a limited time only, at the link below. (Mirroring/hosting thanks again to Shamisen.)
Note that the file is basically similar to any of my previous releases, although it may contain errors that it is your job to find. This means that it is 1280×720, etc, so only download if you can view such video files.
Swear to me on this rose ring.
Finished Rozen Maiden. It was epic. I highly recommend it to anyone who reads this post. The ending was simple, yet poignant, though I myself wish there was more, and the little “third season” actually had some more plot to it. However, I found out that the old manga was abruptly ended. Yes. What a travesty. Ah well. All in all, a good waste of time that would have been done doing history homework.
Point two: Haruhi. It seems I have a “competitor” when it comes to the re-airing of Season 2. I am not sure if I can really call it “competition”, as the end result is somewhat…ehh. Read more…
