    Thank you for your hard work. Endless Eight is soooooo boring. It’s making this anime worse. I hate this stupid loop :/

    As I’ve said before: Endless Eight will obviously be eight episodes.

    I’ll bet it is structured to be both (eight *and* endless). (Like an old eight track tape.)

    It’s been 7 episodes, now. This is the only thing with subtitles that I’ve been able to watch without actually paying attention to it. I dunno, it just makes me lol.

    Also, thanks, Yuki, for the high quality releases. Upscale or not, this beats the shit out of the other releases in visual quality.

  15. August 2nd, 2009 at 18:23 | #15

    Thanks Yuki! Don’t give up!

    @Olle
    Actually, 17 is the 6th Endless Eight. But it looks like 18 will repeat too… I just hope it stops at 19 (which would make eight Endless Eight…)

    Damn Kadokawa trolls…

    My current bet’s on nine endless eights. If they really want to be trolls, they play up Ep8 so it seems like its going to end, you know, change the dialogue around during the “infinite timeloop” spiel to include them asking Nagato how many times they’ve discovered the loop, just like the in the novel, to get the fan hope up that something is going to be different, and then finish the episode with them still in the loop.

    But what I really want them to do is change the ending to make this whole arc worth it. I won’t spoil it for those who haven’t read the novels, but the book’s ending is simply not a good enough payoff for eight identical episodes.

    just be thankful they aint played thru each loop, not only would that make it the longest anime running (lol 15000+ eps) i think even the hardcore fans would give up, and yuki would run outta mask designs XD, i would like to know wen they saterted having the meeting s tho, was it the 2nd loop, or the 15,498th loop (where they first play the ‘we’re in a loop’ clip), or some other loop… this just one of the many questions i would like answered…

    YES YES YES IT IS DONE!

  24. August 6th, 2009 at 17:57 | #24

    What; 19’s the last iteration? About damn time!

    I hope they actually do some real new episodes now instead of this pointless filler garbage; they’re rapidly running out of “space” to fit them, and I’m rather bitter that this “series 2″ is basically just a waste.

  25. August 6th, 2009 at 19:11 | #25

    19 *is* the last iteration. I won’t spoil it, but if you read the novel, it should be pretty familiar.

    It also ends with what looks very much like a series-end ‘book-end’ end credits; not that I trust hints like that with THIS series…
