New Stuff: IRC Webclient + OMG DELAYS
Quick post summary: We have two new things, an IRC webclient and delays on eps 8v2 and 12. Want to know more? Read on!
First: The IRC webclient. Rizon has been kind enough to offer a qchat client for their network. I’ve gone ahead and embedded the client in the IRC page, which is now renamed to “IRC (Webclient/Info)”. Clicking this link will not automatically load the client, so you can still go there just to get the server info. Another IRC note: My triggers died. Anyone have a spare triggerbot to put in the room?
Second: Delays! You people should be used to this by now. First, my download of the transport stream was via HTTP, and I didn’t bother to hashcheck it with the torrent. I have some nice blocking errors in part of the IVTC now. I’d have to re-do part of the IVTC if it weren’t for the fact that there was some DOTCRAWL that I missed in the initial evaluation of the video. That pretty much causes me to have to re-do the entire encode. Hopefully, I can ready the script with the plagued version of the video. Hopefully. 8v2 encode was done on slower computers, but the source was so bad that I saw any blemishes immediately.
Hang in there, and I hope to have releases by this thursday or friday. No school = more time to waste on fansubbing. Cheers!

And thank you very much for the breathtaking attention to detail you’ve shown that puts your releases, in my opinion, head and shoulders above all the others.
Of course, we pay for that with the extra time taken to pay that attention to detail, and that’s fine. It’s what you do, and it’s awesome.
I appreciate in particular the (clearly intentional, and, I think, digital) corruption done to the TV raw, and the considerable comb-filtery efforts being made to clear it up. You’ve done an excellent job so far, and of course as better raws come out you can maybe ‘level up’ the versions.
