Also: contemplating moving releases over to include AniRena as a tracker. However, this breaks compatibility with NyaaTorrents. Perhaps a final batch will go out to AniRena. Suggestions?

Hello. I tried reading almost everything in your plog, but couldn’t get a conclusive answer about something. This april should start airing a new series (or new version) of Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu in Japan, featuring 28 episodes in TV Saitama and other stations. Is this the series that you’re subbing, or is it a BD-rip (or something) release of the old series?

As far as I know, there doesn’t seem to be a Blu-Ray release of Haruhi. This is the TV re-airing.
Thanks for the speedy release! So by next week we’ll know if they will be new episodes or if it just a re-airing of the 1st season
Speed subbing was not really my cup of tea (yup, gg, Shinsen and Nyoron comes to mind) but yours is quality! Just love watching this series and I’m rewatching it because of your releases…all in pure 720p glory!
Just want to ask: isn’t Episode 00 released first before Episode 01? You know, the one with Mikuru acting in a movie in her battle waitress costume. Will you be releasing that? I kinda miss that since that is an “epic movie” in more ways than one… ^^

Unfortunately, if it is a new episode, most likely I will be dropping Haruhi, as I have perhaps only a small grasp on the Japanese language, and I don’t have an able translator at my disposal. (I’m going to be posting shortly on that matter, in fact.)

It appears that they seem to be broadcasting in the chronological order, and #00 falls into the 11th position. We’re up to episode 6 right now. Sorry, but it looks like you may be waiting a bit longer. (Keep your fingers crossed for S2 though.)
I’d prefer nyaatorrents. I need to send my tracker connections and torrent file downloads (NOT peer connections, I’m not evil) via Tor, and anirena has some weird php redirect system that makes it annoying difficult to get the actual .torrent file URL.

That’s okay, mate. If they would follow chronologically, it should be in Episode 11. Then, just take your time on it. Your releases are quality, and it’s worth every minute I wait.

I admire that which you have done review. I like the portion somewhere you say you’re doing this to give back but I would assume by many of the comments that this is working for you at the same time.
